She Hoops Cup - Well Done to Our Basketball NT Representatives

Basketball Australia has kicked off the first ever She Hoops Cup, a landmark event for women's basketball across the country.

On Sunday, some of the best emerging female athletes, coaches, officials and team managers from around Australia touched down in Melbourne for an unforgettable week of learning, connection and competition.

Across four days, participants are training at COURTSIDE Melbourne alongside current Australian Opals and Australian Gangurrus athletes, national coaches, and basketball legends. Beyond the elite environment, the program is also giving back to the community, with participants running She Hoops clinics to inspire the next generation of players.

It is a rare and powerful opportunity for the next wave of talent in our game to train, learn and connect with the very best.

Basketball NT is proud to have Maddie and Jacinta representing the Territory at this inaugural event.

The pair have already arrived in Melbourne and are set for an exciting few days of training, learning and connection alongside some of the biggest names in Australian basketball.
